It is a go for Feb. 25th if you guys are interested. Rules have changed to include barrel protection and full face protection though for everyone. Cost is $20. We would have to run our own games with no refs unless we volunteer. You guys still interested?

I will attempt it, and I think I would have a couple others as well being I won't make New Kent for the second month in a row.....

I talked to the owner but for some reason he did not seem very motivated about the extra business I would be bringing him. He did say that the 25th or any Sat. that there is not a paintball special event would be fine. Also, the rules are more strick now. Full face protection for everyone including adults and barrel protection. I don't have a problem with that but I know there are some that do not want full face protection. Unlike Bethel, the staging area would be the same for paintball and airsoft which can be annoying. Don't get refs like we do at Bethel and New Kent either and have to constantly alternate fields with the paintballers while running our own games. It is an awesome field though, so if you guys really want to do it, let me know. I think we should try to show up in good numbers and maybe they would take us serious. We could always appoint field sergeants like New Kent. I am already the airsoft coordinator for New Kent so I can only dedicate but so much energy and time to The Swamp. Should have 4-7 players from my team. How many of you guys want to do it?

Think if we are going to do this it should be a regular thing like New Kent is that players can depend on. Makes promoting it simpler and probably more successful. Once a month or every other month?

I will assist what I can. Maybe we can get together and go talk with the owner and see what we can do. Sometimes doing a face to face might make things better.

Sounds good. I did stop by during "Castle Day" and talk to the owner Tommy but they were pretty busy and he was a little distracted, but the more of us that show up and let them know we are serious the better.
