As some of you know, I do repair work on most AEGs, and I know that David does also. So please do not be afraid to ask any questions, as we all may not know everything, but we can find it out.
Also, do not be afraid to go ahead and post on here of any thing that you have repaired yourself and may know a better and easier way of doing repairs. I know that I have learned a lot just by asking and google searching for the information. So lets all help each other out when help is needed.

Hope you don't mind me piggybacking on your thread. I also do a little bit of tech work, and definitely wouldn't mind the chance to do a little more. I realize CTS Gun Repair does a **** good job, but I'd be happy to reply to any PM's, etc. I have experience on the M4 platform, and I did a lot of tech work on ScarLight's AK74, if any of you know him. Hopefully he'll drop by and vouch for me if anyone needs it. ;D

Thanks for posting, good to know that there's someone else out there doing tech as well.

Well I'm on here now as well. For those that don't know I'm the tech down at Blackjack Tactical. I've been teching guns for a couple years now and have a few hundred guns repaired. If you have questions feel free. If you have tricks to share I'm all ears... No matter how many guns you've repaired theres always more to learn...

I have learned a lot from picking your brain on repair work. And your right, there's always something new to learn with this hobby, even more so with repairs. I just found a great way to shim and using that with what we have talked about in the past has worked out perfectly with the 5 last gear boxes I rebuilt. So with all of this being said, if myself, David or tcleck can't answer, I know that Wildcard can!

You got it, anytime. I'm also fairly new, but have been repairing for just over a year and really getting into it hard core in the last 6 months. I just built a bad gear box for my G&G blowback M4 that I have yet to find out ROF, but I know it's above 30.

Sounds similar to what I had before what did you use the driving power to mine was a g&p m120 motor but i burned it out but a year of roughly 600 rounds a game on an 11.1 will do that to any motor and just remember if your shimming and motor height are off a high speed set up will shred everything in under a month learned that the hard way

The motor I have is a high torque combat squad. That motor rocks big time for the money. When I shimmed it, it took me about 45 minutes just to ensure it was right, and put it together each time and checked the gears to make sure they moved freely, then took it apart and put it all back together again with everything in place. There is hardly any gear noise, and it's smooth as a anything.
